Built by people who understand both intelligence and execution.

Tactical Tensors brings together three founders from IIT, UCLA Anderson, Google, Microsoft, Walmart Labs, Flipkart, Deloitte and Reliance. Between us we cover AI research, enterprise engineering and product strategy, the three things every successful AI project needs.

Our story

All three of us studied engineering at the IITs, then spent years building at some of the most demanding technology companies in the world. One of us shipped machine learning in e-commerce, healthcare and enterprise software. One engineered systems used by millions at Google, Microsoft and Walmart Labs. One launched consumer products at Flipkart and now builds AI agents for one of the world's largest apparel retailers.

We kept seeing the same pattern: impressive AI demos that never became dependable systems. So we started Tactical Tensors to close that gap. Our first proof was our own product, Datu, a personalized AI storytelling app we designed, built and run ourselves.

Founders

Anuj Chopra

Co-Founder, AI and Machine Learning

Turning research-grade machine learning into working systems.

Anuj leads Tactical Tensors' AI practice. He has built and led machine learning, deep learning, computer vision and NLP work across consulting, e-commerce, healthcare AI, enterprise software and communications analytics, at Deloitte, AJIO (Reliance), Apptio (an IBM company), nference and ClearTrail Technologies. He has held senior technical, consulting and data science management roles.

At Tactical Tensors he anchors multimodal AI, agentic systems, model development and specialized ML applications, from classic predictive models to systems that combine vision, language, reasoning and tool use.

Three perspectives, one team

Every engagement gets all three.

AI

The depth to understand models, architectures, data and learning systems.

Engineering

The discipline to turn them into scalable, maintainable software.

Product and business

The judgment to pick valuable problems and turn solutions into results.

What we believe

Technology should follow the problem.

Not every problem needs an LLM, an agent or a custom model. Sometimes a focused predictive model beats a complex generative workflow, and sometimes human review is what makes automation dependable. We weigh the trade-offs honestly.

A prototype is the beginning, not the destination.

We plan for integration, testing, privacy, reliability, cost and long-term ownership from day one.

Intelligence should be measurable.

The goal is never AI for its own sake. It is a better decision, a simpler workflow or a product customers love.

Talk to the people who will do the work.

Every first conversation is with a founder.
